Ordering and Shipping

At Midwest Bagpipe Supply we always work hard to process and ship your orders quickly and accurately. you can place orders online, using our secure shopping cart system, or you can call us or send your order. Most orders will be shipped within 48 hours via UPS or USPS service, so you can expect to see your order in 5-7 days, if you're in the United States.

Store Hours: Our store hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm EST 

Accepted Form of Payment: We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, AMEX, Checks, and Money Orders. All prices are in US dollars.

Placing Orders:            

• Online:Our website features a secure shopping cart system, so your credit card information is safe. You will receive an e-mail confirmation of your order and notice of its shipment. In addition, we provide specific tracking information via e-mail for most domestic orders.
• Phone: Place orders over the phone by calling toll free 1-877-221-2045. When calling from outside the US, dial the number (231) 421-2113.
• Mail: Please include a phone number in case we have any questions about your order. Add an email address if you would like to receive payment and shipping noification emails. If you're sending a check, it's best to verifiy the price and availability of items prior to mailing your order. Michigan residents add 6% sales tax on your total before shipping. 

Shipping Information

Shipments Within the United States*

Standard Delivery Services: US orders are usually shipped via USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground, so if all items are in stock, you should receive your order in 5-7 business days. If you have provided an email address, tracking information will be sent when your package is shipped. Rates are displayed in the chart below.

Expedited Domestic Services: We offer several expedited services; rates are displayed on the chart below. For same day shipment, orders must be received by 2:00 pm EST.

• Express Mail: Express Mail packages may arrive next day or in 2 days, depending on your zip code, and are delivered Monday through Saturday by the US Postal Service. Find out whether service is 1or 2 days to you from our zip code: 49686.
• UPS 2nd Day: Package would arrive 2 business days after the date of shipment. Delivery is only Monday through Friday.
• UPS Next Day: Package would the next business day after the date of shipment, so Next Day UPS orders placed on Friday would not be delivered until the following Monday.

We are not financially responsible for reimbursement or adjustment for any delays in package arrival due to abnormal carrier problems or incomplete or incorrect shipping address as provided by the customer.

*Oversize Shipping Charge: Oversize packages, like bass drums and bass drum cases, are subject to additional shipping charges. For US orders, bass drums and bass drum cases incur additional charges, $65 and $70 respectively. (A bass drum and matching case together will be charged the $65 additional charge.) These charges are on top of the order value-based rates listed in the table below.

*Multiple Drum Charge: Standard domestic orders of 2 or more drums together are subject to additional shipping charges. If shipping charges will exceed the rate you see when you check out, we will contact you with a rate quote for your approval processing your order.

*High Value Charge: High value orders may be subject to additional shipping charges, as these price ranges can include many types of products in large quantities. Standard domestic orders of $2500 or more, and expedited orders of $2000 or more, will be evaluated to see if additional shipping charges are required. We will contact you for your approval before charging your card or shipping your package.

Shipments Outside the United States

International Delivery Time Estimates: International orders are usually shipped via Express Mail International or Priority Mail, so you should look for your order in 6-14 business days.

International Shipping Rates*: Shipping charges are based on order values, in most cases--see the chart below. If your order total exceeds $2000.00 or if it includes multiple boxes or oversized packages, we will need to quote the shipping charge. If the freight charge must be quoted, we will contact you with the price, so you can approve shipment or change your order. We do not guarantee worldwide delivery unless a third party service like DHL, FedEx or UPS is used. These carriers provide portal to portal detail and ensure higher accuracy in delivery than typical mail service.

Taxes & Duties: Packages are shipped from our store in the United States. Any taxes or duties applied to your shipment by the destination country are the responsibility of the recipient. Unfortunately, we cannot know in advance what these will be.

*Oversize Shipping Charge:  For international shipments of oversized items, like bass drums and bass drums cases, shipping charges must be calculated per order, as charges vary significantly, depending on destination. We will contact you with shipping rates for your approval before processing your order.

*Drum Charge: International orders including one or more drums are subject to additional shipping charges. If shipping charges will exceed the rate you see when you check out, we will contact you with a rate quote for your approval processing your order. 

*High Value Charge: High value orders may be subject to additional shipping charges, as these price ranges can include many types of products in large quantities.
